Mr. Harold Stephan shares that Stuy's Modern Music Project hosted two Stuy alumni on April 22, 2023. Mr. Palagy is an Emmy Award Winning Audio Post Sound Designer for Film and TV and is the Supervising Sound Designer at ESPN/Disney+. Mr. Palagy showed examples of how he uses carefully crafted sound design to dramatically enhance the emotional context of various video clips, including a segment from a recent Marvel movie. The presentation was followed by a Q&A in which students were able to gain a deeper understanding of the job requirements and skills necessary to become a professional audio engineer and sound designer. Ms. Goff and Mr. Palagy attended Stuyvesant together and are still friendly, with Ms. Goff joining MMP students in enjoying Mr. Palagy's presentation.
