Under a superb leadership of the Japanese honor society cabinet members, Ms. Chie Helinski shares that Stuy had a successful Japan Day last week! Many students made rice balls, mochi, and cookies. Sushi was ordered, and we made 9 gallons of matcha latte during the day and 600 takoyaki balls on site at the event. There were cultural activities, such as origami, paper sumo, fortune readings, and wish making. It was filled with the good smell of food and lots and lots of smiles.
