On Saturday, November 9 the Parent's Association held their first ever Multicultural Day! Staff, students, and families all came together to celebrate in a warm and loving atmosphere to appreciate all our different cultures -- there are so many at Stuy with close to 40 languages spoken at home!
As part of the celebration there were performances, decorations, shared experiences, dance and presentations of all cultures. We so appreciate all the hard work led by our copresidents, Karin and Casandra, along with the PA Outreach planning committee: Annie, Qing, Yihsuan, Kelly, Anshu, Judi, Eunkyoung, Lorna, Cecil, and Haruko. We hope to have this event many times again in the future where we all can gather and learn about one another's rich culture and history and enjoy more delicious dishes from all over the world!
