<p>Last week, we held the first <strong>Family Engagement Workshop</strong> of the school year: <strong>“Stuy 101” for Freshman parents & guardian</strong>s. <strong>Over 300 parents & guardians were in attendance!</strong></p>
<p>Assistant Principal, <strong>Mr. Smith</strong> shared graduation and Regent exam requirements; SPARK Counselor, <strong>Mr. Colon</strong> reviewed Freshman Seminars and the School Counseling Department; Internships & Opportunities Coordinator, <strong>Mr. Blumm</strong> went over opportunities for a first summer at Stuy; parents were introduced to their grade representatives by PA Co-President, <strong>Alex Shafran</strong>; Director of Family Engagement, <strong>Ms. Ingram</strong> went over Talos, online systems at Stuy and Tips & Tricks of being a Stuy Parent and <strong>Principal Contreras</strong> went over the Homework Policy, the Spiral of Communication and Expectations at Stuyvesant.
