Students observe Take Down Tobacco National Day of Action at Stuy

Take Down Tobacco National Day of Action is a day of activism that highlights the destructive effects of tobacco especially on youth. Teachers, young people, youth leaders, and health advocates all over the country participate! They come together to raise awareness of the high smoking rates in their communities, encourage youth to stay tobacco-free and push for anti-tobacco legislation.
The day is organized by The Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids and it was originally called Kick Butts Day. To learn more about you can help kick butts of tobacco companies who target youth for profit, visit tobaccofreekids.org
