One of our priorities during your time at Stuyvesant is to prepare you for your next steps in life. We want to support you in your professional and personal pursuits and position you to have choices in those endeavors. For the past two years, we have held a Career Exploration & Future Pathways Fair after the administration of the PSAT/NMSQT. We will have our third annual Fair on Friday, October 23 from 12:54 – 3:00pm where we will have more than 90+ professionals from various fields/industries share what they do, how they got there, and answer questions you may have. With a constantly changing work landscape, the insights and experiences these professionals will share could help you to explore your interests and better understand what skills might be needed for the future.
The Fair will include three total sessions with the last session as an opportunity to network with the specific speakers who you may want to learn more about their field/industry. Remember, the Fair is an exploratory opportunity to be exposed to various fields/industries and some of the professionals who are currently in them. Take advantage of the opportunity to listen, learn, and ask questions.
[ACTION STEP]: Please complete the Stuy Career Exploration & Future Pathways Fair Preference Form by 8:00am, Friday, October 16, so that we can assign you to your field/industry preferences.
Finally, we will provide you with your session assignments and a Student Career Exploration Guide to help organize the day. We will send this information the week of October 19.
