Ms. Jane Karp announces Stuyvesant’s annual Holiday Card Competition!
This competition is open to all students in the Art Appreciation, Technology, and Studio Art classes, and in the Art Club. Three (3) images will be selected by the art teachers for the Stuyvesant Holiday greeting cards. All three winners will also receive a gift card for art supplies and extra credit in their art class.
Criteria for this competition:
-- Artwork must be two dimensional
-- Artwork should be no bigger than 9 x 12 inches
-- Any 2-D drawing or painting medium can be used (no glitter). Computer aided designs are also permissible.
-- Subject matter should be seasonal (winter), but no imagery specific to religious holidays can be used (i.e. no Santa, Christmas trees, nativity scenes, menorahs, etc.)
-- Abs tract images are also acceptable.
