We hosted our 2nd Family Engagement Workshop of the school year this week – the Annual Sophomore Parent Workshop! Over 200 parents joined us! Director of the College Office, Mr. Jeff Makris discussed Early College Awareness; Ms. Pedrick, Mr. Contreras and I presented Navigating Teenage Freedoms & Independence and Making Use Naviance. Mr. Rodda John joined us to present Talos and How Students Will Choose Courses and answer many programming questions. Special thanks to the Stuyvesant Parent’s Association and the Hospitality Committee for their support and hard work both in preparing for refreshments and their ongoing support and funding of the College Office and Naviance!
