<p>The <strong>Girls' Track and Field team</strong> together with the <strong>International Women’s Day Run Committee </strong>will celebrate International Women’s Day by hosting a school-wide event. <p>Fill your post SING! blues by grabbing a friend (or teacher!) to celebrate the women in your life. We are excited to see you all for an exciting celebration of the strides that have been made in women's equality!</p>
<p>The event will include: <strong>Lots of free snacks; a raffle; free stickers;</strong> f<strong>antabulous T-shirts</strong> created by world-renowned Japanese street artist, <strong>Shiro </strong>and <strong>Extra Credit </strong>from many teachers!</p>
<p>During the event, you have the option to <strong>jog/walk </strong>(crawl/skip/dance…) <strong>1 mile or 2 miles</strong>! Or, you can join our first-time RACE event with <strong>prizes</strong> for the winners on March 13 ($1 sign up, slots limited so sign up fast)!</p>

<p><strong>All proceeds from the event will be going to WOMANKIND</strong>, an organization that aims to end violence against girls and women, gain women's economic rights and control over resources, and support women's equal influence in decision making and ability to exercise political power.</p>
