<p>SENIORS: This is important information for students applying to the City University of New York system for General Freshman Admission. </p><p><b>If you have already applied to CUNY</b> <b>via Macaulay Honors College, please stop reading and disregard this. You will automatically be reviewed for general freshman admission for every college listed in your CUNY app. </b></p><p>CUNY often represents the most affordable post-secondary option for many families. Test scores can be self –reported but must also be sent officially through the CollegeBoard or ACT websites to CUNY UAPC (code 2950). Scores can take 6-8 weeks to process so have them sent well before February 1.</p><p>· <b>All </b>application<b> materials must be received by February 1st</b></p><p>· Apply and submit any required documents asap to receive priority admissions consideration. <b>Applying closer to the Feb. 1 deadline makes admission more competitive!</b></p><ul><li>Some CUNY institutions require or at least will evaluate essays and/or rec letters. Submitting an essay and/or rec letters is <b>particularly important for students with relatively low gpas</b>.
