Senior Milan Haiman going for a spot on both the USA & Hungarian Math Olympic Teams!

Mr. Stan Kats shares that over the summer Stuyvesant had two students, senior Milan Haiman and sophomore, Ethan Joo (attend the Math Olympiad Summer Program (MOSP) at Carnegie Mellon University. Milan Haiman performed so well during the program that he is now one of 24 students in the country being considered for a spot on the USA Math Olympic Team for next summer. In addition to this, he is also being considered for the Hungarian Math Olympic Team. Throughout this school year, he will be taking Team Selection Tests (TST's) for both Olympic teams. Milan, Ethan and other members of the Stuyvesant Math Team are currently training for Princeton University's Math Competition (PUMaC) in November.
