<p>Assistant Principals, <strong>Ms. Elizabeth Fong</strong> and <strong>Mr. Scott Thomas</strong> share that the <strong>Stuyvesant Science Olympiad team</strong> won <strong>1<sup>st</sup> place at the New York City Regional Competition </strong>on Saturday, February the 8, 2020 at Grover Cleveland High School in Queens. The team had an impressive win of <strong>55 medals</strong> <strong>in all the 22 events</strong>. <strong>The team captured 1<sup>st</sup>place in 9 out of the 22 events. </strong>This places the team at <strong>#1 in the New York City regional area for the 3<sup>rd</sup> year in a row</strong>.</p>
<p>The team will now go to the New York State Science Olympiad competition from March 13 to 14 at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York.</p>
