Assistant Principals, Ms. Elizabeth Fong and Mr. Scott Thomas share that the Stuyvesant Science Olympiad team won 1st place at the New York City Regional Competition on Saturday, February the 8, 2020 at Grover Cleveland High School in Queens. The team had an impressive win of 55 medals in all the 22 events. The team captured 1stplace in 9 out of the 22 events. This places the team at #1 in the New York City regional area for the 3rd year in a row.
The team will now go to the New York State Science Olympiad competition from March 13 to 14 at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York.
