Safety Alert!

Students! We need you to exercise extra caution when traveling to and from school and throughout the day when you are outside of the building. We were recently made aware there have been individuals who have approached students near Chambers Street and Greenwich Street with intent to steal valuables. We've contacted the 1st Precinct, and have asked they increase NYPD presence in the area throughout the day. Take these essential safety steps:

• Travel in groups – There is safety in numbers, especially during free periods, lunch, and commute to and from school
• Keep valuables hidden – Store phones, headphones, wallets, and other items out of sight
• Stay alert – Remove headphones and remain aware of your surroundings

If you see suspicious activity, return to school immediately and report it to security or the main office.By staying vigilant and looking out for one another, we can keep our community secure.
