Research Coordinator, Mr. Jason Econome shares:
A new year has begun with promises to be a healthier one for all of us. It is also one with more offerings of research activities for young people than ever before! Say goodbye to pandemic and hello to a summer of exploration and change the world through research.
Discover a new way to detect pancreatic cancer, create a new species of plant that doesn’t need watering, code a robot to make your bed or design an application that helps you plan delicious meals at the school cafeteria (no, it’s not impossible) are just some of the activities that are waiting for you to participate in this summer.
I have listed outreach program links form around the city that are available to you. They really do challenge and engage young minds with lessons from university professors that are complemented with all kinds of wonderful, cutting-edge research activities to be explored.
Take advantage of these great summer research opportunities now (see below) because application deadlines are approaching soon. Please contact jeconome@stuy.eduwith any questions or concerns.
