<p>This past week, Mr. Contreras hosted the final <strong>Breakfast </strong><strong>with the Principal</strong> of the school year with special guest teachers, <strong>Mr. David Hanna, Ms. Annie Thoms</strong> (Stuy ’93), and <strong>Ms. Megan Weller</strong>. They spoke to parents about new elective classes that they will teach at Stuyvesant during the 2019-2020 school year. You can read about Mr. Hanna’s Social Studies Elective for the Fall term<strong>, </strong><a href="../../../course_directory/course/2712"><strong><em>The Middle Ages</em></strong></a> on Talos and download the syllabus<em>. </em>Mr. Hanna will offer the elective <strong><em>The Spanish Civil War</em></strong> in the Spring Term. <em> </em>You can also read about Ms. Weller’s elective on Talos, <a href="../../../course_directory/course/2712"><strong><em>AP Global Perspectives</em></strong></a> <strong> </strong>as well as Ms. Thom’s elective, <a href="../../../course_directory/course/2713"><strong><em>Writing to Make Change</em></strong></a>. <em> </em>Mr. Contreras entertained an Open Forum of questions from parents until almost noon!
