THIS LINK will take you to a pocket guide published by the National Survey for Student Engagement. The purpose of the guide is to help students to ask thoughtful questions of admissions staff, tour guides, or, best of all, random students on campus when visiting colleges. The questions within tend to provoke deeper conversations about a particular institution as opposed to questions about average SAT scores or most popular majors, which are readily answered by briefly reviewing college publications or websites. Some of our students have found it helpful in the past, as you embark upon college visits.
