This link will take you to a short guide (literally, a pocket guide) published by the National Survey for Student Engagement. The purpose of the guide is to help students to ask thoughtful questions of admissions staff, tour guides, or, best of all, random students who currently attend the institution.
The questions within tend to provoke deeper conversations about a particular institution as opposed to questions about average SAT scores or most popular majors, which are readily answered by briefly reviewing college publications or websites. Some of our students have found it helpful in the past, so we thought we'd share with you all as you embark upon your own college search process.
