Participate in International Anti-Street Harassment Week 4/16-20/2023

Mr. Angel Colon shares that International Anti-Street Harassment Week will be commemorated from April 16-22, 2023. This initiative allows us to raise awareness about street harassment, why we shouldn’t accept it, and what we can do to help end it.

Students who are wondering how to can get involved during this week, can take advantage of ideas of actions they can take to be part of the movement to create a world free of harassment and filled with humanity.

  • Take action and win prizes by joining free training sessions of Stand Up Against Street Harassment , created in partnership with L’Oréal Paris, you will have a chance to enter our giveaway to win a copy of the book I’ve Got Your Back, a lipstick, haircare item, and mascara from L’Oréal Paris. We will explain to you and ask you to share your story of harassment on our Storytelling platform to participate. Don’t miss this opportunity. To register and see upcoming dates, click here.
  • Advance your healing journey on Right To Be’s Storytelling platform. By sharing your story, you not only help make the problem of harassment more visible, but you support others by showing them that they are not alone. Research has shown that sharing your story on our platform can also help you reduce the trauma as you see your experience as part of a larger injustice. You might be less likely to blame yourself for what you experienced — and more likely to take action on behalf of others. Share your story anonymously now!
