Every year, NYCPS asks all eligible students, faculty members and families of students in grades 3-K through 12, to take the NYC School Survey. The survey gives school leaders a better understanding of what members of their school community think about their school. The information collected by the survey is designed to support a dialogue among all members of the school community about how to make the school a better place to learn.
Students will be provided time to take their survey during an extended homeroom in March. Faculty will be provided time to take their survey during a conference day in March. NEW in 2026: The student access code is a lowercase “s” followed by the student’s 9-digit OSIS number (e.g. s123456789).
Families can access the 2026 NYC School Survey online in 10 languages at nycschoolsurvey.org or by logging into their NYC Schools Account (NYCS) Parents must enter a "f" in front of the student ID number to access parent/guardian questions. One survey for every child attending Stuyvesant will be filled out.
Please note: There is one parent survey per student. Once one parent/guardian fills out the survey; the other parent(s) cannot use the code again. This is not in the control of Stuyvesant. The DOE provides one parent survey per student. The family access code is “f” followed by the child’s nine-digit Student Identification (OSIS) Number. Note that “f” must be lowercase. Families can find their child’s Student Identification (OSIS) Number on their report card, Talos, or student ID card. Alternatively, families can complete their survey by logging into their NYCSA account. If you need assistance with your NYCSA account, reach out to Ms. Tang at ntang5@schools.nyc.gov.
