The Parsons Scholars Program free pre-college scholarship opportunity at Parsons School of Design.

The Parsons Scholars Program is pleased to invite 10th graders who are interested in art & design to apply for an extraordinary free pre-college scholarship opportunity at Parsons School of Design.

The Parsons Scholars Program is a free 2 1/2 year program for NYC public school students from low-income backgrounds who are committed to exploring art and design. Please see our application for eligibility requirements and review our info booklet for information on how to apply. Accepted students participate from 10th through 12th grade.  All costs are covered, including:

• Seven studio courses
• Six college credits
• Art supplies
• College guidance
• SAT prep
• A strong community of mentors and peers
• Metrocards and meals during all programming* 

*For Fall 2021, the program is 100% online.  Spring 2022 plans will be announced by December.   

We hope to get this information into the hands of all students with financial need, regardless of demonstrated skill or experience.  We are not a talent search. We expect students to self-select based on their interest and understanding of their eligibility.
