At the PA General Meeting on April 8th, the Stuyvesant Parents' Association will be voting on proposed bylaws and is proud to host a virtual Vendor Fair for our Spring Gala sponsors. Silver Sponsor IvyWise: Are there any specific disadvantages to applying from Stuyvesant HS compared to applying from private schools or regular public schools? If so, how do we overcome them?
Silver Sponsor Princeton Review: Is there any value in students from academically rigorous schools in taking and submitting standardized tests (SAT or ACT) when they're optional?
Silver Sponsor Stem Club NYC: How early or late should a student start thinking about college admissions?
Silver Sponsor Your Best College Essay: How to think about selecting the right essay prompt for the Common App?
The vendors will then be available in separate virtual breakout rooms for Q&A with the Stuyvesant community. Parents may choose to go into any of the breakout rooms to engage with the different vendors.
