Stuyvesant Indian Parents celebrated the festival of Holi at the Stuyvesant Cafeteria on the 18th of May, 2024 with the support of the PA's South Asian Outreach Group. Holi is an Indian festival celebrated in the beginning of the Spring season. The festival signifies the triumph of good over evil. It is also a prayer for a bountiful harvest season. The festival is traditionally celebrated across the country by throwing colored powder and water at each other. Hindu believe it is a time to enjoy Spring’s abundant colors and saying a farewell to winter. Happy Holi!
