Orchestral slideshow in memory of the 20th anniversary of 9/11.

<p><b>Ms. Joseph Tamosaitis</b> put this slideshow together in memory of the 20th anniversary of 9/11.  The music is from our first concert at Stuy after 9/11.  </p><p>That was a very remarkable year at school. The students didn’t mourn openly. Instead they were resolute in doing their very best so that “the terrorists wouldn’t win”.</p><p>Still the emotions were out there.  Often, kids would say after a concert or a certain piece of music, “That was a 9/11 moment”- as if only music could articulate the sadness that nobody openly expressed.</p><p>The music here is the first movement from the Copland Clarinet Concerto played by student Alex Brash.
