<p><strong>Notice of the formation of the Nominating Committee for the Spring General Election</strong></p>
<p>At its General Meeting on May 21, 2019, the Stuyvesant High School Parent Association will conduct its <strong>Spring General Election</strong> for the following positions:</p>
<p><strong>Parents’ Association Officers:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>President or Co-presidents</li>
<li>First Vice President</li>
<li>Second Vice President</li>
<li>Recording Secretary</li>
<li>Corresponding Secretary</li>
<li>Treasurer</li>
<li>Assistant Treasurer</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>School Leadership Team Delegates:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Senior Parent Delegate—One (1)</li>
<li>Junior Parent Delegates—Two (2)</li>
<li>Sophomore Parent Delegates—Two (2)</li>
</ul>
<p>Accordingly, the Executive Board of the Parent Association is <strong>forming a Nominating Committee</strong> to conduct this election. <strong>Andrew Cribb</strong>, who is a Senior Parent and not seeking election to any position, has volunteered to organize the Committee, which will formally elect its Chair once the committee has been constituted.</p>
<p>The committee will consist of a minimum of three and a maximum of seven members. The majority of the members of the committee must be parents or guardians who are <strong>not</strong> already members of the Executive Board.</p>

<p><strong>Any parent or guardian of a Stuyvesant student who is interested in serving on the Nominating Committee should contact Andrew at </strong><a href="mailto:contactpa@stuy-pa.org">contactpa@stuy-pa.org</a> to<strong> express their willingness to serve by Friday, April 12.</strong> </p>
<p>The Committee itself will be subject to a vote of the General Membership at the April General Meeting (April 16, 7:00pm in the School Auditorium) for ratification.</p>
<p>Upon ratification, at the April General Meeting, the Nominating Committee will formally invite nominations to be made in writing to the Nominating Committee until 11:59pm on May 14, 2019, i.e., seven days before the date of the May General Meeting.
