We are happy to let you know that nominations are now open for the fourth annual FLAG Award for Teaching Excellence!!! Here’s how you can ensure that deserving teachers in your school are nominated, helping them get the recognition they deserve – and a $25,000 cash prize, along with a $10,000 prize for your school!
One grand-prize winner from each of NYC’s five boroughs will receive a $25,000 cash prize and each finalist will receive $10,000. The winning teachers’ schools will each receive $10,000, and each finalist’s school will receive $2,000 for arts-based initiatives designed with input by the winning teacher.
