<p><strong>Ms. Sophie Oberfield’s Asian American Literature class</strong> hosted a special visit from <strong>playwright, David Henry Hwang</strong>, on Friday. During his lively discussion in room 629 during 10<sup>th</sup> period, he talked about his writing for both <strong>M. Butterfly</strong>, now on Broadway, and the television series <em>Fresh off the Boat</em>. He spoke to students about growing up in a Chinese-American family and wanting to be a writer and took questions from students. The students had both read and seen his play, M. Butterfly.</p>
