During the week of December 13, 2021, we hosted the first 'Parent Chats' back in the school building in person for families! We were happy to be able to feature School Social Worker, Ms. Arleen Novarese speaking to parents about "Productive ways to de-stress with Teens". We had a lively back and forth with those in attendance!
The next day, our Counseling in Schools partner, counselor, Ms. Sapphire Chao was featured and taught a parent interactive workshop completely in Chinese to Mandarin-speaking parents covering the same topics and how to speak to teens about emotions. There was positive interaction and feedback and parents were excited to have more workshops planned for the new year.
We're so appreciative of our counselors' assistance in the Parent Chats during December! Looking forward to more this school year!
