Ms. Marissa Maggio shares that on Friday September 28th, the Urban Ecology Class went to Pier 25 to meet with educators from the Hudson River Park Trust. Students learned about history of NYC Estuary, measured water quality, examined Crabs and Oyster Toad fishes, and finally collected data for on growth of oysters in the parks Billion Oyster Project cage.
