Ms. Karen Leo shares student artwork inspired by the Instagram project of a benched nature photographer. She asked her students to play quarantine “Travel Photographer” by taking illusionistic photos of invented miniature environments. They looked at artists who work in miniature photography, such as Thomas Demand, Lori Nix and Fischli and Weiss. Students were allowed to use any materials on hand to set the scene, and use a close-up point of view to create a sense of real-life scale. The work is amazing. Click here to see a full folder.
