Ms. Kleiman visits SUNY Plattsburgh

On April 9-10, Ms. Kleiman had the opportunity to participate in a SUNY Counselor tour to visit SUNY New Paltz, SUNY Adirondack, and SUNY Plattsburgh. Highlights included:

• A great, affordably priced, week long summer pre-college experience at New Paltz for students with an 86+ GPA. Pell Eligible students are the target audience, but the application does not limit who can apply.
• SUNY Adirondack, a residential 2 year SUNY, has a transfer pathway agreement with SUNY Buffalo's Pharmacy program and had an incredible brand new academic building with top notch STEM and nursing facilities.
• SUNY Plattsburgh had arguably the strongest student support center she's ever seen (in over 150 campus visits) for students with disabilities and learning differences - truly top notch!

These are just three of the over 64 SUNY options across the state to provide affordable priced higher education pathways to New Yorkers.
