<p data-block-key="wujeq">Ms. Crutchfield's English class enjoyed a "truly magical day" las week. Multiple students said it was the most exciting thing they'd done all year. Janel Moloney (who is a current Stuy parent) secured a special talkback with the cast, so the students had a genuine back-and-forth with Don Cheadle and friends. The cast was delighted and impressed by our students — they did a collective double take when Cheadle asked "Who here has read the play?" and every hand went up. The actors were genuinely interested in hearing the students' reactions, and the students learned about many sides of theater and of life from the actors. Last week, Ms. Maloney followed up by coaching Ms. Crutchfield's students on their own performances of scenes from <i>Proof</i>. It's been a rich two days. Thank you to the PA and Alumni for supplementing the funds for students to have these amazing experiences!</p>
