Mr. Tomas shares photos from the AP Latin trip to the Institute for the Study of the Ancient World, in which a docent led the class on a tour of Pompeii in Color: frescoes on loan from Naples preserved by the ashes of the Mt. Vesuvius eruption of 79AD. Special thanks to parent Livia Tenzer for chaperoning! The class did their best imitation ofHercules and Omphale, a large fresco from the house of Marcus Lucretius. Although the exhibit is over, anyone interested can view some of the pieces here.
