Mr. Robert Sandler took 30 students from his Jewish History class to see the Metropolitan Klezmer band and nosh on Katz’s Deli this past Sunday. Eve Sicular, the band leader, is also an academic and explained the Yiddish Eastern European origins and meaning of the music.
