Mr. Robert Sandler shares that on Monday, Sally Frishberg, known as the Polish Anne Frank came to his Jewish History class and told her harrowing story of survival during the Holocaust. A polish catholic neighbor hid her family in an attic for two years where all they had to eat was beans & potatoes. Sally also discussed how she returned to Poland and fought to recognize Stanislav Grocholski as Righteous Among the Nations. One of the pictures Mr. Sandler shares shows Sally with her family in Poland with the Israeli Ambassador and Stanislav’s family.
