On Thursday evening Oct 9th over 20 students from Mr. Sandler's Jewish History class attended a screening at the Museum of Jewish Heritage of We Will Dance Again, a powerful film depicting the tragic events at Israel’s Nova EDM music festival on October 7th. Students found the film incredibly moving, felt it was so important to see, and thought the Q&A afterward was highly engaging. The discussion featured Shalev Bitton, a survivor of the massacre, and Yunnis Alkarnawi, a Bedouin Israeli who rescued Shalev, seven others, and twenty-four Thai farm workers. The screening took place just before the historic ceasefire and hostage exchange.
