Mr. Robert Sandler shares that on April 12th, he had author, John Strausbaugh come to discuss his new book, Victory City: A History of New Yorkers During WWII. John taught the class that NYC wasn’t just the home of G.I. Joes and the Rosie the Riveters; it was also the home of saboteurs, Nazi sympathizers, gangsters, hookers, atomic scientists, poets and bobby-soxers. It was a fascinating talk!
