Mr. Stanislav Kats shares he had a special guest speaker this week. Dr. Po-Shen Loh, leader of the US IMO (International Math Olympiad) team and professor at Carnegie Mellon. On his way back from China to the Carnegie, he offered to come in and speak to our students. Mr. Kats mentions, “It was a privilege having him speak to our students as he has revitalized the US Olympic Team in the past few years, including winning the IMO in back to back years for the first time in more than two decades and three of the last four years (2015, 2016, 2018). He was able to speak to them for forty minutes on college, problem solving, research and self-growth.
