Mr. Hanna took his Participation in Government class to visit City Hall. They learned about the history of the historic building and about our local government. They were met by the architectural historian, Mary Beth Betts, and she gave them a tour of the interior of the building that dates back to 1810. They learned that the architect François Mangin had based it in on the city hall in Nancy, France. They had a chance to explore the City Council chamber, and the magnificent rotunda.
