The LIRR (Long Island Railroad) service is suspended systemwide due to a strike. If your student is affected, we recommend that you closely monitor official MTA/LIRR updates, explore alternative commuting arrangements where feasible, and allow for additional travel time. We will closely monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.
On Monday, May 18, 2026, Stuyvesant High School will enter the third and final week of the AP examination administration. Students scheduled for morning AP exams must arrive by 7:30 am and be in their assigned testing room by 8:00 am. Per College Board requirements, all AP exams must start on time. Regrettably, there will be no makeup examinations.
Please plan ahead and accordingly to ensure on time arrival next week and particularly if the LIRR strike continues.
