<p>Hey students of all grades -- Join the Stuyvesant Reality Check club on June 13, 2023 at 3:35PM.</p><p>Why is it important to our community?</p><p>Currently many teens are embroiled in a vaping epidemic. In 2017 only 45,000 high school students vaped and now it's at 2 million. In that time tobacco companies made billions of dollars profit by targeting young people like me. In fact, JUUL just settled a 462 million lawsuit with NY State and is finally starting to face more scrutiny. </p><p>Stuy Reality Check believes Stuy students can be change makers and fight back! Stuyvesant Reality Check is supported by NYC Smoke-Free, the leading tobacco control program in New York City.
