Participants do not need to identify as a runner or athlete – just be willing to take the first step!</p><p>With support from NYRR’s program team and coaching staff, <b>participants are taught running techniques and life skills that develop the ability, confidence, and motivation to be self-confident and active for life.</b> Run for the Future lessons in self-care and wellness introduce a holistic approach to setting and achieving vital short and long term goals.</p><p><b>Free Benefits Include: </b></p><ul><li>New Balance running gear and sneakers</li><li>Omni card to travel to and from practice</li><li>Healthy snacks and a fitness kit to support their training to run their very first 5K (3.1-mile) race!</li></ul><p>At the conclusion of the program, participants join a network of alumnae, with opportunities to participate in our year-long program.
