Junior, Brianna Leung shares that in response to the current health crisis and seeking to help overwhelmed facilities, she and a peer have founded the PPE-manufacturing initiative Students’ Defilade. Thier mission is to provide relief to front-line workers in the NYC community, and they work off suggestions from the Stuyvesant community, knowing that many students have friends or family members on the front lines and are worried about certain high-risk environments.
