GIVE THANKS ART CHALLENGE
A new Art Challenge this week from Ms. Karen Leo! We have all been moved by the heroic effort of our city’s medical professionals, first responders, security agents, sanitation, postal and grocery store workers that allow the rest of us to stay home and care for ourselves and loved ones.
The 7pm joyful noise let’s citizens hear our gratitude, let’s let them see it too.
Your challenge (should you choose to accept it) is to create an artwork, card, poster etc. that expresses your thanks to these brave and important professionals.
Any style or medium is welcome. These can be general notes and images or dedicated to a specific hero in your life. Here is a link to an article in Hyperallergic about artists making work to thank the medical staff at Lenox Hill Hospital.
