Diversimento is ecruiting musicians to participate in the Diversimento 2022 summer concert.
This summer, they are producing a virtual concert in August once again for the Boulanger Initiative and the Institute for Composer Diversity. All performers have to do is submit a video of their performance, whether that's a spoken word piece or a classical piano concerto. Diversimento is an organization dedicated to supporting diversity in the arts and education through concert fundraisers and in-school workshops for student musicians. Diversimento was conceived as a live-streamed fundraiser concert in 2020 with more than 70 musicians and artists internationally from Bahrain to Indonesia, and an audience of more than 1000. We continued the concert this past summer and busked around New York City to raise additional funds, and raised more than $800 for our partner organizations, the Sphinx Organization and the Institute for Composer Diversity.
