The Freshman Honors Program is a specially designed liberal arts curriculum of interrelated classes that satisfy core requirements and incorporate experiences that integrate the work students do in these classes. The Freshman Honors courses, typically smaller in size, offer enriched learning activities and community building experiences. At Queens College, Honors students will work closely with our outstanding faculty—dedicated teachers and distinguished scholars who have received many prestigious honors, including Guggenheim awards and Fulbright grants—and be a part of an exceptional student body that represents over 170 countries.

In addition to academic rigor, Honors courses are communication and collaboration intensive and promote innovative pedagogies, cultural enrichment, and across disciplines interconnectivity.
