Freshman Caucus is excited to kick off their Speaker Series, a series of professionals that will be invited to share interesting information about their craft. The first speaker is Dr. David Deitcher, a Cornell neuroscience professor who will come in on Thursday, March 18th at 4:30 PM. He will be doing a presentation about seizures and epilepsy, including the “julius seizure” gene he helped discover. There will also be a chance for student to ask questions to Dr. Deitcher at the end. Sign up for the event here!
Ms. Maggio will be offering extra credit for the students that attend! If you want to receive extra credit for her class, students must come to the event, take notes on what is heard, and then submit the notes through the exit survey the SU will provide.
