<p><strong>STUDENTS – FREE WORKSHOP</strong> -- <strong>Steelcase WorkLife Center</strong> and <strong>Project Reach </strong>to host <strong>Anti-Discrimination Training<br/></strong><strong>Tuesday, April 30, 2019 <u>and</u> Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at</strong> 8:30am-3:30pm [breakfast and lunch provided].<br/><strong>Steelcase WorkLife Center, 4 Columbus Circle, New York, NY 10019 </strong>(corner of w58th & 8 Ave).<br/>This <strong><u>12-hour Anti-Discrimination Training</u></strong> will bring together 30-40 students and young people from schools and community organizations serving young people and families throughout Manhattan and City-wide.</p>
<p><strong>Speaker Corey Johnson, CM Danny Dromm, the New York City Council</strong> and <strong>Project Reach</strong> seek to establish community and school-based <u>Intergenerational Anti-Discrimination Teams</u> of young people and adults trained to address bullying, implicit bias and discrimination in their communities. Drawing from 40 years of anti-discrimination and social justice training, Project Reach will offer a unique opportunity to individuals, organizations and schools to experience its most successful and impactful workshops.</p>
