Whole Foods and the 1st Precinct Community Affairs Unit are hosting a food drive. This is a great community based and collaborative effort to support those in need. The food drive will take place on May 23. Items being accepted are extended shelf life food items such as: dried fruit & vegetables, canned beans, canned fish & poultry, Nut butters, Whole grain items etc. We are also accepting toiletries such as toothbrushes & toothpaste, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, feminine hygiene products etc. All donations will be sent to The Bowery Mission- Tribeca.
