Fall 2026 Elective Selections DEADLINE JUNE 8, 2026

On May 22, 2026, we will open the Fall 2026 Electives Preference Form in preparation for the next school year for students in grades 9th -11th (current Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors). You must read the key information thoroughly, including the Elective descriptions and the required prerequisites/eligibility needed for the respective course/s, so you are prepared to submit your preferences correctly. Please take your time submitting your choices as the preferences are not first come, first serve.

When you open your Fall 2026 Electives Preferences Form in Talos, both the Advanced Placement (AP) courses you have been initially approved for will be viewable, as well as non-AP electives you may select. Your preference selections will be reviewed and used to build your overall student program--we build student programs by prioritizing graduation requirements and by giving each student a minimum of 7.5 periods (Physical Education and Lunch included). Please submit your Fall 2026 Elective Preferences Form in Talos (and remember to click "SAVE") by the deadline of June 8 at 8:00am.

TIMELINE:

1. May 22, 2026

• Fall 2026 Elective Preferences Form opens in Talos on this schedule:
  • 12:00 pm – Rising seniors
  • 2:00 pm – Rising juniors
  • 4:00 pm – Rising sophomores
• NOTE: Students will see the AP Courses for which they are initially approved listed on their Fall 2026 Elective Preference Form in Talos. Students should use this information when considering ranking their elective choices. The form enables students to indicate which course they plan to utilize for each requirement. For example, if I can view I have been initially accepted to AP World History, Global 3 will still appear in the dropdown menu. It is with this choice that I indicate to the program office if I intend to use AP World History to fulfill my social studies requirement, or if I have changed my mind, and would like to use Global 3 instead.

KEY ELECTIVE COURSE INFORMATION:
It is important to note that the Fall 2026 Elective Preferences process occurs in Talos. When the Fall 2026 Elective Preferences Forms are released in Talos on your designated date/times, you will have the opportunity to fill out the course preference form to inform the school of the Elective courses you prefer to take next school year. Please be aware no student is guaranteed a seat in a course until student programs are finalized in September 2026.
