<p>Assistant Principal, Ms. Francesca McAuliffe shares that the <b>4th Annual NYC DOE/Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment Public School Film Festival</b> is accepting submissions! The Festival is open to NYC Dept. of Education middle and high school students. 20+ short films will be selected for the Festival by a panel of media professionals and educators, and will be screened in May 2022.</p><p>Submitted films must be 5 min. or less, in .mp4 or .mov format. Films must use only original or public domain music. Categories are:</p><ul><li><b>Animation</b></li><li><b>Short feature/narrative</b></li><li><b>Documentary</b></li><li><b>Experimental</b></li><li><b>P.S.A./Advocacy</b></li></ul><p>No nudity, profanity or violent acts are permitted. Youth filmmakers <b>must</b> play the major creative role — as directors, writers, and/or editors.
